Initial Visit

- Patient Forms - We request that you complete the patient information forms attached. This paperwork provides our staff with your health history and detailed information about your condition.

- Consultation and Examination - Next, our Chiropractor will meet with you to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals. A complete chiropractic examination will be performed.

- X-ray Studies - Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions.

- Report of Findings - Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, our Chiropractor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  • How can you help me?
  • How often do I need to come in?
  • What will my treatment cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and x-rays, our Chiropractor will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers.

- Treatment - At the conclusion of your initial visit, a variety of chiropractic techniques are available, most common being a manual style adjustment and instrument adjustment. Other methods may include the Palmer package, activator and flexion distraction. Our treatment is interactive, so you can express your thoughts and concerns about the different styles of treatment at any time.

Scheduling Appointments

Our office prefers scheduled appointments which allows for convenient and efficient appointments for all of our patients. Walk-in patients will be seen by the next available doctor. Please feel free to contact our office if your scheduled appointment does not work and a change can be made to better suit your needs.

Insurance Policy and Fees

If you have health insurance coverage, you want to get the most benefit of your policy. Please check your policy terms to see if chiropractic care is included. If it is part of your insurance benefit, Walton Chiropractic may be covered. Know that your insurance benefit is limited by the policy terms.

For example, your policy may allow only 12 visits to the chiropractic office. Or it may only pay chiropractic spinal manipulations and not adjunctive services.

Please check your policy. If you need help, our staff at Walton Chiropractic will do our very best to help you understand your chiropractic benefits. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to make contact with your insurance provider and become as educated as possible on your policy. Co-payments are due at the time of the service! No chiropractic coverage? No problem! Walton Chiropractic has an “at time of service” payment option for no insurance coverage and well as a long-term wellness treatment option. All fees are due in full, the same day of service.
